Marty Wood is a writer, critic, and curator interested in the intersections between art, architecture, and technology. He has published reviews, essays, and criticism in a variety of publications, most recently in Metropolis and The Architect’s Newspaper. In 2014 he was part of a group of students that curated a multi-disciplinary platform at the 14th Venice Architecture Biennale. Wood studied communications at San Francisco State University and in 2015 completed a M.S. from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation in the Critical, Curatorial, and Conceptual Practices in Architecture program. He has served as a visiting critic at Pratt Institute and Columbia University GSAPP and currently serves as the Program Director for The Architect’s Newspaper Facades+ and Tech Plus Conference Series. He lives and works in New York, NY.
